• Day 16 – Closing Reflection

Scripture: Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all. Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Proverbs 31:29-30

    Reflection:

So you’ve made it to the end of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and together we’ve walked through the lives of women who remind us that God does not choose the qualified He qualifies the chosen. From Eve to Priscilla, each story reflects a truth we often forget: God is not intimidated by our flaws, fears, or failures. He delights in using the overlooked, the broken, and the ordinary to display His extraordinary power.

I pray this journey was more than reading stories it was an invitation to see yourself in them. To recognize the Sarah moments when waiting feels unbearable. To acknowledge the Leah seasons when rejection whispers louder than love. To embrace the courage of Esther when silence feels safer than obedience. These stories are mirrors, revealing both the places where we need healing and the ways God has already been faithful.

May your journals now be filled with authentic conversations with God prayers that stretch you, questions that challenge you, and praise that shifts you. This was never about checking off pages, but about creating sacred space for Him to speak. Because the goal of a devotional isn’t to finish it’s to be transformed.

I also hope you took your breast health seriously and continue to make regular self-exams a rhythm of your self-care, honoring both the body and the life God has entrusted to you.

Finally, know this: you were not just reading about women of the Bible. By faith, you are becoming one.

    Closing Prayer:

Lord, thank You for reminding us through the women of the Bible that You use the broken, the overlooked, and the ordinary to display Your extraordinary power. Help us to walk boldly in faith, care for the bodies You’ve entrusted us with, and leave behind a legacy of obedience and love. May we continue to become women after Your own heart. Amen.
